One image, five tour builders

You do not need 3DVista to use any of this.

Most of this shop is sold through the 3DVista Marketplace, which gives people the impression that the files are a 3DVista thing. They are not. An equirectangular JPG is the common currency of the entire 360 world, and every builder below reads it without conversion.

The only exception is the handful of editable .vtp projects, which are 3DVista project files by definition and need Virtual Tour Pro to open.

3DVista Virtual Tour Pro

Desktop, one time payment, and the deepest of the five. Custom skins, scoring, timers, hotspot logic, VR output and offline builds. This is what you use when the tour has to do something, not just be looked at.

Pano2VR

Also desktop, also a licence rather than a subscription. Very strong on gigapixel panoramas and on output you fully control. A favourite of people who want to host the result themselves rather than on somebody's cloud.

Marzipano

Free and open source. The tool runs in your browser, takes equirectangular or cube faces, and exports a plain web app you can put on any hosting. No account, no platform. If you can write a little JavaScript it will do almost anything, and if you cannot it is still the fastest way to get a tour online for nothing.

Kuula

Web based and the quickest to start. Upload, add hotspots, share a link, and it works in a headset. The trade is that the tour lives on their platform.

ThingLink

Built for education and training rather than property. Its scenario builder is genuinely good for branching lessons and escape rooms, which is why so much of the teaching world is on it. It expects you to bring the 360 background.

What this means when you are buying

Choose the builder on price, hosting and what the project has to do. Do not choose it on what art you can find, because the art is the same for all of them. A pack bought today still works if you move platforms in a year, which is not true of a tour you built inside one.

How buying works

  1. 01 · Pick

Choose a pack here. Every card opens its own page on the 3DVista Marketplace, where the full preview and the licence terms live.

  2. 02 · Pay

Checkout happens on market.3dvista.com. Card or PayPal, VAT handled there, and the receipt comes from 3DVista.

  3. 03 · Build

Download the JPGs and drop them straight into 3DVista, Pano2VR, Unity or anything else that reads equirectangular.

Each product page carries its own licence terms and a full preview of every panorama in the pack. Read them there before you buy.

Forty-four ways to skip the shoot

Nobody has to fly anywhere. The mansion, the space station, the flooded ruin and the showroom are already built, already lit and already 8192 pixels wide. Take one and put your tour inside it tonight.
